It's that time of year again. The annual Street Survival one day program is back and 14/69 Auto Body wants you to sign your teen up. This program saves lives and we want to spread the word. On Sunday, October 2, 2016 the excitement begins as teens learn how to handle themselves safely and properly while driving on the road.
They get actual hands-on driving experience and practice using specific, well supervised exercises designed to teach car safety and control. These low speed exercises helps teens learn how to control their car in abnormal driving conditions.... Like water, ice, or snow.... Hello? Indiana!
They will experience sudden braking, swerving around cones and even sliding on wet surfaces (hydroplaning). BUT.... Don't worry. Every student is accompanied by a certified instructor and safety is a #1 priority.
Wait! It gets better.... Teens will get to witness the sudden and strong power of an airbag explosion and each participant will also get a 1 year membership to the Sports Car Club of America - racing anyone?
1. Licesnsed or permited drivers 15 years or older can participate
2. Must supply your own car to drive
3. Be willing to get out of your comfort zone and learn!
